App review process

The app review process

When you submit an app to the Shoplazza App Store, Shoplazza reviews it to ensure it meets our app requirements.

  • If your app meets our requirements, it will be considered for approval.
  • If your app requires significant changes that prevent it from being reviewed, you will receive an email titled,Your app [Your app name」has been rejected that outlines the required changes. After making the necessary updates, you can re-submit your app through your Partner Dashboard.

To learn about the most common reasons why apps aren't accepted, refer to the Common app rejections.

Contact Throughout the Review Process

During the review process, Shoplazza will contact you using the email address provided in your App Developer account. To ensure you receive our emails, add [email protected] and [email protected] to your allowed senders list in your email service provider’s settings.

How Does the Review Process Work?

When you submit your app for approval, you'll receive an email titled Thank you for submitting 「your app name」 to Shoplazza. When you receive this email, this means that your app is Pending Review.

Your app must pass two stages:

  1. The Review Stage
  2. The Conversation Stage

During these stages, your app also passes through several status states: Draft, Submitted, In Review, and Live. You can see these states in your app listing dashboard.

When you submit your public app for screening, it moves into the review stage. You will receive an email titled Thank you for submitting 「your app name」 to Shoplazza. Once you receive this email, your app is marked as Submitted in your app listing dashboard.

If your app submission requires major changes, then it will be rejected. You receive an email titled Your app 「XXX」has been rejected that outlines the required changes you need to make before re-submitting the app for review. When you receive this email, your app is marked as Draft in your app listing dashboard. You can then resubmit your updated app through the Partner Dashboard, where it will be treated as a new submission.

🚧

Caution

If you re-submit your app without addressing the reasons why it was rejected, then you could be temporarily suspended from submitting apps to the Shoplazza App Store.

We’ll approve the app when we've made sure it meets all the Shoplazza App Store requirements. You receive an email titled Your app「Your app name」has been published to app store when your app has been approved. At this point, your app will be marked as Live in your app listing dashboard and will appear on the Shoplazza App Store.
